About Us

Skyline Events is simply put, the events arm of the pre-existing Lakeshore Lacrosse Event slate. Since 2003 Lakeshore has been providing some of the premier events in the Midwest.

Annually, Skyline Events runs and operates 8 Showcases and Youth through High School lacrosse events throughout the Chicago-land area and into Indianapolis. We offer events for every taste, with our youth events being geared to follow USL specifications, promoting a fun atmosphere with DJ booth competitions, competitive game play at premier facilities and top notch vendor villages. Our HS events are geared toward development of the participant and various recruiting opportunities for those who want to play at the next level!

Our Leadership

Amanda Kammes | Director of Marketing, Events and Elite Training

Amanda Kammes most recently served as the Director of Sales, Girls Events for NXT Sports in Philadelphia, PA. Here, she started the Girls Lacrosse Events division and grew it to 12 events over a two year period. During this time she also served as the Head Coach at Abington High School for two years (’15-’17) and Owen J Roberts for one year (’17-’18). While at Abington, she led the team to an undefeated conference championship, and two of the best regular season records in school history. Additionally, in her time as a HS Coach, Kammes produced over 20 Division I recruits and 10 USL All-Americans. Prior to her tenure at NXT, Kammes served as the UC Davis Women’s Lacrosse Program’s top assistant and recruiting coordinator from 2012-2015. Prior to going to UC Davis, Kammes served as defensive coordinator at Garnet Valley High School and won 2 State Championships while there. Before joining the lacrosse scene, she was an Assistant Basketball Coach at D1 University of Pennsylvania (2008-2009) and American University (2005-2007). Kammes is a Chicago native. She also received her BS in Nursing in 2009 and Masters in Nursing Education in 2016.
